Ingrid Hess donated this alphabet to the Society. Children are invited to -

Ingrid is a cut-paper artist and a professor of graphic design at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the United States. In 2022, she spent a month in Australia at the BigCi Artist Residency. While there, she created a series of banners and a game that celebrate the diverse flora and fauna of the Greater Blue Mountains.

She worked with Yuri Bolotin, bushwalker and environmentalist, and Rae Bolotin, Director of the BigCi Artist Residency, to make sure the work has accurately reflected the Greater Blue Mountains.

This work was donated by Ingrid, so that children and their parents can learn more about this region and how to be better caretakers of the environment.
